Lanikai Homes needed a digital experience that felt elevated, clear, and easy to navigate while supporting a large and growing portfolio of luxury properties. The goal was to create a site that reflected the brand’s high-end market while improving usability across desktop and mobile.
Overview
I led the UX/UI direction for a large-scale Wix website focused on luxury real estate in Hawaiʻi. The project involved restructuring the user experience, organizing a high volume of content, and building a scalable system for 100+ property pages.
The Challenge
The website needed to support a large number of listings without feeling overwhelming. Key challenges included unclear navigation, inconsistent mobile layouts, weak SEO structure, and the need for a more refined visual experience that matched the brand’s market position.
My Approach
I focused on simplifying the browsing experience and creating a structure that could scale over time. This included:
Reorganizing content into clearer pathways for residential and commercial properties
Designing a repeatable page system for individual listings
Improving mobile layouts for both vertical and horizontal imagery
Building SEO into each page through alt text, metadata, and internal linking
Refining the visual direction with soft neutrals, spacious layouts, and a more elevated user experience
Outcome
The final result was a cleaner, more scalable website experience that better supported both the client’s content needs and the expectations of a luxury audience.
